The Who, the What, and Why we do what we do regarding backpacks!

That’s a mouthful, but our backpack nets can hold a mouthful when needed. Carrying different when the time calls for it and changing the way we think of how our backpacks can work and carry more for us while keeping us hands-free. Got backpack? We got a net for that.

Got Molle Pack?

Got Molle Pack?

Got Molle/ Tactical backpack? We got a net for that too. Small and mighty! But it can do more! The Mini OPSnet that’s not so mini.

Overstuffing your backpack can be frustrating, especially when you need more room than what your pack can hold. Most of the time, you want to bring your pack because of the convenience of carrying your stuff on your back rather than in your hands. Our external backpack net creates a solution to take more on your back and keep your hands-free. It also solves the problem of securing more oversized items outside of your pack so you can have more room inside for what is important and what matters most to you to shelter. It is also easier to shuffle and dig inside for what you need. No more taking stuff out to get to your stuff, no more forcing things into pockets, forcing the zippers shut, ripped pockets, undone, broken zippers, preserving that backpack you so much depend on and paid for.

We value your time and your backpack because we know that time and time again, you’re on the go, and backpacks come along with us. We have to be tactful about what we bring daily, and I get that. I have a better time when I have everything I need and don’t waste time backtracking my day to get what I don’t have. But sometimes, the day throws us for a loop, and we get caught with our hands and armpits full of stuff that we are juggling from point A to point B. My story is no different from others regarding packing problems and frustrations. We’re about controlling this frustration; we’re about PACK HOLD CARRY, just a little bit more for when the times call for it and keeping it on your back.

Here at Outer Pack Stuff Net Co, we’re here to change the rules for backpacks one net at a time and make your backpack better at carrying more when needed. We’re here to change the size of backpacks one net at a time. We don’t need to carry an extra bag in our hands or be at the manufacturer’s mercy to get the next bigger-size backpack for your trip or outing. You can keep your favorite backpack because we’re changing how we carry stuff. We’re also about a hand-made product for hands-free travel and convenience. We can do extra shopping and not walk many blocks with full hands. If you carry extra bags on cold days, stuff them in the net and keep your hands warm in your pocket while on the go. We’re about giving you options to Pack more stuff for your commute, vacations, and everyday carry. Keep your hands free for your general safety or for what matters most. Carry an extra coat for when the weather changes. Pack and carry extra sports equipment to practice or games. Carry your dirty, wet clothes and muddy boots outside your pack. Carry your work shoes while walking comfortably with your favorite sneakers on your commute. It’s a helping hand for city commuters and students who trek on foot, bike, or scooter.

Our backpack net is not just a storage solution; it’s a versatile tool that can adapt to your needs. It acts as a deterrent for pickpockets, making your belongings more secure. It can also transform into a small backpack, gear hammock, or tote for those just-in-case moments, giving you the ability to PACK HOLD & CARRY what you need comfortably and securely instead of juggling things in your hands.

This is also a convenient and helpful backpack accessory for preppers and bug-out bag enthusiasts. Check out THE Mini OPSnet for your Tactical/ Molle backpack. Our smaller external backpack net is not that mini after all and provides an option and many possibilities for those panels of PALS webbing your tactical pack provides. A net can come in handy in many situations; add it to your arsenal of survival gear. Survivalists would say, “It is better to have and not need it than to need it and not have it.” Coming from me, I will say, “I got your back so that you can keep it back there.” You may also find other practical uses I may not have considered. The type III commercial paracord is strong, durable, USA-made, UV, rot, and mildew resistant. It is proudly hand-crafted for you and your backpack here in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, with the possibility of being more than a helping hand that’s got your back, and so do I.

I can’t say to leave the packing to us, but go ahead and pack, hold, and carry more. The possibilities are endless with what you can use it for. Thanks for bringing me along and keep it on your back!

Our Original External Backpack Nets are designed to fit all styles of backpacks, so you can be confident that they will work with your favorite pack. UP to 50L and 24 inches in height

Our Mini OPSnet Backpack nets fit all kinds of styles of Molle/PALS webbing backpacks up to 24 inches in height. The Mini net is approx. 27 inches in height x 12 inches wide without tension.

Bike, Ride, Walk, or Run? Why would you want a backpack net?

There are lots of ways to get around. What is your mode of transport? Do you have more than one throughout the week? What is your commute like? Do you live in the city or the country? And my point would be, does your backpack come with you? And do you need a better way to PACK HOLD CARRY throughout your day? How important is it to be hands-free from point A to point B? I only ask these questions because I have had to answer them throughout my life in the city, in the country, at the airport, on the boardwalk, and on my bike. It wasn’t till later that I came up with a solution for backpacks to do more, to pack more, to hold more, so I could carry more if I needed to, and I want to share it, hoping backpackers of all sorts see its value from point A to point B.

When you’re caught carrying many things in your hands… Got backpack? The All-American backpack accessory that Packs, Hold, and Carries well and has your back. Keep it back there and keep it hands-free.

Quick overview on how to attach your external net to your backpack.

DSCN0007.JPG

Step 1

wrap the small tail end around the grab handle of the backpack and clip it to a mesh, then let the net hang over the front of the pack.

DSCN0011.JPG

Step 2

Flip the pack around and clip the fixed corner of the net to the other side of the pack. (The fixed end is the corner of the net without the tail) Make sure you go through the straps and clip it to a net mesh on the pack’s far side. Where you clip the mesh determines how big your front pocket will be. This is where you adjust to size up what you stuff in the net pocket.

Now, weave the other end of the net (with the long tail) through the bottom mesh of the net to the top mesh. It doesn’t matter what end you start from and end. (You are joining both parts of the meshes to make one.) just like lacing your shoes. Keep your straps exposed and connect the net to make one big pocket in the front of your pack. Undo the daisy chain if you need more cordage to wrap through meshes.

The remainder of your long tail will be used to lash meshes and wrap it around through your straps to tighten the net around your backpack. As you weave your long tail around, lash through 1 or 2 of the meshes here on the back end of the net to prevent a lot of sag. (I address this issue in the updated video above for the external net setup.) ( In the photo above, I did not; it’s up to you and how you prefer it..) Don’t worry about overthinking too much about lashing into certain meshes. Particular-sized objects will require less or more room in the net. The goal is to stuff your stuff and keep it tight to the pack where there is no shifting and sway for your comfort and safety.

DSCN0008.JPG

Step 3

Undo the clip from the grab handle and stuff your items in the net. Re-clip around the grab handle and secure it; if it is too tight, undo the daisy chain for more cord length on the short tail end by your grab handle and use it to lash through meshes to tighten the net to the pack and back your grab handle.

Then, use the long tail cord end and lash through meshes to tighten the net to the pack. Clip your long tail to a mesh, and you’re done. Don’t overthink it when attaching the net; in a nutshell, you’re wrapping the net around your pack, and the long tail and sometimes the short tail will come in handy to lace through more meshes to tighten the net around your stuff.

Double-check your connections before you go on and carry on.

Up to 15+ feet of extra paracord on the long tail to lash and lace through meshes to secure and tighten your STUFF to your pack. Go On, Carry On!
