What do I do? My pack doesn’t have a lot of PALS webbing!… or anchor points!

It’s okay that your pack may not have that much pals webbing. My sling pack has a side row of PALS webbing only. Here, we’ll look at an option to wrap your articles in the MiniOPSnet and still have them attached to your pack. Sometimes, you have to think outside the box.

to start, weave the long tail through your PALS webbing to attach the MiniOPSnet. Depending on how much long tail you will have left to cinch up your stuff, you may have to get creative in the final process of creating your pocket. Not to worry, it’s simple, and I’ll have a video at the end of what you can do just by adding a piece of string/cord to the net.

you can see the blue cord here I added to cinch up my pocket, and the reason again is depends on how long you weave through the PALS webbing, the more cord you go through from the long tail, you might end up with not enough to cinch your belongings nice and tight. I try to provide enough cord in the long tail, but sometimes you may want to add more, and that’s fine just secure it to the net, as much as you want, as long as you want. I added two loops at the end of the blue cord to attach to the carabiner that locks up my pocket in the end.

Once your object is in the net, wrap it like a burrito and remember that blue cord that we added? That’s what we’ll use to close up the net that’s attached to our pack.

Always double-check your connections, make sure it’s secure, and always remember there is no right and wrong way to use this versatile net when attaching your belongings to your pack, I have a video here at the end to explain a little more in-depth.

Got minimal PALS webbing? No problem. Watch the video on how to wrap it! and use what you got…just another way to PACK HOLD CARRY
