The Daisy chain on your backpack net
The daisy chain on your backpack net is essential to wrap around meshes to tighten your gear against your pack. The daisy chain can be undone quickly to provide you with more cordage if necessary and just as quickly to condense the paracord in the daisy chain for better cord management.
The original backpack net has two tails in Daisy chain format: The “LONG TAIL” and the “SHORT TAIL.”
The MINI OPSnet has one “TAIL” only, consider it the “LONG TAIL.”
The LONG TAIL is ESSENTIAL; the long-condensed cordage can be undone for even more LENGTH. It wraps around your backpack to cinch up meshes to tighten the backpack net against your gear and keep it tight against your pack to prevent sway and your stuff falling out.
Now, on the Original External Backpack Net, there is a “SHORT TAIL.” it is there for the just-in-case moments you may need to cinch more meshes; it may not apply to some stuff you carry, I personally keep it wrapped around the top mesh and it hangs out there with the top clip until I need it.
